HKS USA, Inc. Hipermax IV SP Drag dampers for the JZA80 Supra are a monotube design with 30-way single adjustable damping. The shock body is length adjustable for ride height changes, meaning it will not affect the performance of the 300mm long spring. This also widens the range for height adjustment and stroke distribution.

The front spring rate is 88 N/mm, which equates to just over 500 lbs/in, and the rear spring rate is 59 N/mm or just over 335 lbs/in.
